I posted the status that I was going away for the weekend to Taiwan and Facebook last week, and a friend of mine commented: “Damn girl! You are really all over the place. How many countries have you been to in the last 5 months!!”… And, when I counted (with a bit of difficulty), I realized that I have been to SIX. Now, realize that Southeast Asia is pretty small so there are like 5 countries in a 2-hour plane radius. And Hong Kong is a travel hub. And I have gone away on work-related trips twice so I got to see two new countries (Nepal and Australia) AND I have had a ton of vacation already so I’ve had the opportunity to go running all ’bout the place.
All of this to say that: last weekend, me and the German liebling went to Taiwan for the weekend. We stayed in an amazing hotel that had a jacuzzi tub and a flat screen TV hanging over the jacuzzi tub (big pimpin’!!!). Taiwan was cool (the little of it I saw within the two days I was there) and I’m glad I went. Here are some pics!
