Greetings from Hong Kong. We actually wanted to send you a social media release on who we are and Christmas deals for travelers to Hong Kong but thought we’d best say hello first as I don’t want to spam you.

We’re a digital/tech/tourism (phew) startup, Tink Labs, based in Hong Kong. We are also travel bloggers or just locals/expats who love to travel. Our first product is handy (handyhongkong.com) It’s a complete digital city guide on a smart phone that you rent by the day.

It has loads of ‘best of’ lists, reviews, suggestions for shopping, dining, drinking and what to see. It’s city guide you can rent, that’s never out of date, that comes with unlimited international/local calls + 3G internet. It has itinerary’s (based on themes or routes) for people who just want to be taken around. It’s great for tourists and business travelers who dont have much time.

The ‘unlimited aspect’ means if you’re a blogger, no more hunting for wifi. You can video call your mum and share the view from Victoria Peak. Or upload pictures of you trying to eat chicken feet in real time (or whatever floats your boat)! It’s also like a concierge – book hotels, restaurants, buy discount deals all through the phone to save you time.

We’re expanding in Asia and we’re really proud of how far our little company has come since just April this year. Could we possibly send you our release? It would be great actually if we could get some banner ad pricing from you, or any kind of pricing whatsoever, if that’s possible?

    Regards,

Hello! Have you ever written a post about how you started your business. I’m interested in which web hosting and blog sites that you use and how you learned to code and create content. I think you do it on your own?

LOVE your blog & inspired to go to S. Africa with my hubby. We’ve got 10 days. Any a suggestions on how to spend that time? Our demographic is older than yours & definitely not as adventurous! Thanks in advance.

Thank you Oneika. Your information has been absolutely fantastic.
I am Black, from San Francisco and have lived in Madrid since 1968. Being Black in Spain has had it’s up’s and down’s but, in general, it has been an enriching, adventurous experience.
Good luck of your present and future projects.
