Ok, so, seriously. I had to google up Malta because I've never heard of the country before until you mentioned it. Judging from your pictures, it looks like a great place to have a vacay! Can't wait for more updates!
Malta looks beautiful! I have to look it up on a map too. I am less familiar (compared to African and American countries) with European and Asian countries, but I am studying world geography in preparation for the Foreign Service Officer exam.

I've put Malta on the top of my 2012 travel list. I've heard such good things about it. A friend of mine from Vancouver just spent a week there {for work training… lucky girl!} & she said it was wonderful.
