And now for something completely random…

BY ONEIKA RAYMOND

The German Chamber of Commerce of Hong Kong is hosting their annual Christmas party this evening, and I will be attending. My deutsch liebling invited me and I figured that I couldn’t turn down what is sure to be a rollicking good time eating sausages and sauerkraut and toasting to happiness and good health around the good ol’ tannenbaum. After attending the Oktoberfest festivities in the past months, I’ve become aware of the large German community in Hong Kong and know how much these people love to throw a good party.

So I’m brushing off my Deutsch (the all of 4 sentences in German I know), my trusty red dress (the dress code requires that we wear either red or gold), and putting on some (moderately comfortable) dancing shoes in anticipation of tonight’s event.

Tschüss!
