Liebling had a going away party with the theme “Be your own superhero”, so all of his friends got into the spirit! Liebling and his besties adopted a broad interpretation of the theme and dressed as Super Mario, Luigi, and Princess Toadstool. A good time was had in costume and every type of “hero” was present… Lady Gaga, Batgirl, and even Osama bin Laden made appearances. Here are a few pics so you can witness the craziness. But what about my costume? I, being miserly and out of ideas, decided to get a little creative and dress as Catwoman (but sans cat ears as I couldn’t find them anywhere). A number of people, after having seen the pics on Facebook or having seen me in person that night, asked me where I got my costume, but the truth is that I already had the boots, leggings, and shirt in my possession and that they are a part of my regular wardrobe!!! Of course, I never wear all pieces at the same time… But a little (p)leather is always good for the soul, isn’t it?
