Yeah, umm…
So I’ve been real busy. School has started, I’ve got to get up early for work, my feet hurt from all the walking I’m doing, I’m still eating out every night (and have discovered that Subway sandwiches tastes just as good in Hong Kong as it does in Canada), yadda yadda yadda. Things are on and poppin’. In the last week I have met all my students, gone on a hike and to a floating restaurant, purchased furniture for my apartment (alleluia IKEA!), gone partying with co-workers and my bosses, met two other sistas who, like moi, are trying to etch out a fulfilling existence in HK, found a hairstylist who can re-twist my locks (a Vietnamese girl who lived in Toronto for most of her life- go figure!), gotten paid (alleluia!!), finally received the bank card necessary to withdraw the money that I got paid (booyah!), and have met a whole host of Chinese people and expats who are all about living it up here in Hong Kong.
So you can see why I haven’t had time to post in the last week, no??
Luckily I have been taking tons of pics, so I’ll let them do the talking. Unluckily, however, I don’t have the time to post said pics so you’re just have to wait on the edge of your seat until I feel moved enough to post them.
How’s that for suspense? My momma always told me that I was a tease, tee hee.

to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.”
She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab
inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back!
