Lamington National Park

Tamborine Mountain National Park

It’s made up of 13 sections of land and contains multiple waterfalls that are reached easily by a variety of walking trails. Springbrook National Park
An area that dominates the Gold Coast’s western skyline, Springbrook National Park is another Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area. With spectacular waterfalls, ancient trees, amazing views and natural beauty that would rival anywhere in the world, this part of the hinterland is well-worth a visit. Nestled in between the coastline of the Gold Coast and Lamington National Park, Springbrook is probably most well-known for its “natural bridge”. An unusual geological feature that was created by water tumbling through the roof of a basalt cave over millions of years, this natural bridge is a popular spot for tourists. The area plays host to a colony of glow-worms, and visitors can witness the creatures’ beautiful lights during a nocturnal tour. During the day, tourists can also stop to take in the views, enjoy a picnic, cool off in the rainforests and listen to an array of bird calls.
