I´m here!
It´s cold.
The scenery is gorgeous.
Going on a tour to see waterfalls, natural hot springs, and geysers this afternoon.
Flight was uneventful.
Icelandic seems like a very cryptic language.
Hostel seems decent but I can´t check in until 2pm. D´oh!
I saw the word “Thor” printed on the side of a truck and I giggled.
Likewise when I saw a sign that said Viking.
Most Icelanders I´ve seen have blue eyes.
Take all these observations with a grain of salt because I have been in Iceland for approximately 2 hours.

It is a wonderful program and a great way to live in France without dipping into your own savings… I checked the link specific to those applying from Canada and they haven't yet uploaded the application for 2011-2012 but you can take a look at the link anyway so you can get an idea of the requirements:

Another great resource for info about the program is a website called "Assistants in France", where the English language assistants can relay/trade info about their experiences, finding housing, money matters, travel, etc… Be sure to check out the link (especially the "forums" section where there is a discussion board): http://www.assistantsinfrance.com
They also have a facebook group that you can access- the link is on the main page!

I think what you said made a ton of sense. But, think about this,
suppose you wrote a catchier post title? I am not saying your content is not good., however what if
you added something to maybe grab folk’s attention? I mean In Iceland – Oneika the Traveller is kinda plain. You could
peek at Yahoo’s front page and watch how they create
news titles to grab people to open the links. You might try adding a
video or a related pic or two to get readers interested about what you’ve got to say.
In my opinion, it would make your blog a little livelier.
