So… I m in Berlin… but without bag nor boyfriend.
Liebling is stranded in London because snow has grounded all flights. My luggage is stranded in Moscow because some idiot forgot to load it on the plane.
Someday I will see the humour and irony of this, but for now I am hella pissed. Thank goodness for Liebling s family for being amazing and picking me up from the airport and taking care of me in his absence.

oh no! Im so sorry to hear that Oneika! It must be very stressful…the weather across Europe has been crazy these past few days and a lot of being are stranded all over. I'm crossing my fingers that your boyfriend gets to Berlin as soon as he can and that your luggage makes it there too. Merry Christmas, quand meme!
Oh, that's terrible; I hope you get your luggage soon. The same thing happened to me a few years ago during the holidays and it was NOT fun. I had to wait THREE weeks to get my luggage and hence had none of my stuff for the holidays. I complained so much the airline eventually gave me a free flight. As soon as your luggage comes, the airline will express ship it to your home so you should get it the same day it comes in. I hope it works out for you and the BF!
You get to choose how to react to the situation so focus on the positive. You arrived safely in Germany and you have a place to stay and food to eat. Your luggage and Liebling will get there in due time. In the meantime, relax and enjoy yourself.

I m so annoyed because I feel like, it this were Canada, this snow wouldn t be an issue at all! How are you enjoying home! Make sure to have a Timmy s for me! Joyeux Noel!!
@Samantha- What!!! Three WEEKS! That is ridiculous! Thank goodness that they gave you a free flight, but I am highly annoyed that you had to fight/complain to get one. I finally got my luggage back last night BUT it was only after calling and bugging them so much that they made it a priority to send it to me!
@tanya- You know, you are entirely right! Things could have turned out way worse, and in the grand scheme of things, I am WAY better off than the many others who have been stranded at the airport for days! When are you flying back to Toronto?`Hopefully you are not flying via London! And thanks for the compliment on my hair! I love ease of the bantu knots and the curls I get when I take them out. It s the perfect holiday style!

We leave Avignon (by train) on the 25th for Paris and we fly from Paris direct to Toronto on the 26th. We've been watching the news and we hope things will be calm at Roissy when it's our time to leave.
Yes girl, THREE weeks! I know all too well the drama that comes with travelling especially around the holidays, so I leave nothing to chance. I thought my bags were lost for good. I was flying back to Toronto from New York for the holidays and my bags didn't come. I went nuts for a few days, calling everyone. The airline basically told me it could be anywhere in the States or Canada so finding it would take a while. After a few days, I figured it was gone for good, until it arrived in the middle of January! I'm glad it worked out for you though.
