But I am slightly materialistic and the prospect of inexpensive, fashionable clothing excites me.
Particularly when I have to bargain for it.
I just spent the last twenty minutes trying on shoes and haggling for lower prices in one of those tight, dark, dingy alley-ways that are plentiful in Hong Kong. I just bought a pair of fashionable sandals for about $10 Canadian ($69 Hong Kong Dollars). Score!! And that was just today. Yesterday (when I discovered these immense network of alleys), I managed to find another shoe vendor and bag yet another cute pair of platform sandals and a very chic pair of shades, all for a whopping $120 Hong Kong Dollars, which is about $17 Canadian. And that was without any sort of real bargaining.
Anybody who knows me well knows that I am a ridiculous clotheshorse and bargain hunter. At this rate, I wont have any room left in my closet- prices are just so cheap here!
Somebody stop me.
