Seoul Style Watch: Booties

BY ONEIKA RAYMOND

I love fashion, and am always on the lookout for trends. Especially here in Asia. So, in Seoul, I have been checking out Korean style. One thing I have noticed is that a lot of the females here generally wear short lace-up boots like the ones pictured above (took the picture on the metro this morning). EVERY female seems to be wearing something similar. They are often paired with skirts. I like the look, but Liebling thinks it looks stupid. What do you think? Hot or not?

  • I like women with laced boots. Especially if the rest of the dress is classy. It makes for a nice contrast.
BY the way, I wanted to congratulate you on the great job you're doing with your blogs. I have a hard time reading blogs normally, but you tend to have at least one insight in each of them that makes them stand out.
That is part of the reason (the other being that you seem to have been everywhere in the world for which I envy you like crazy) why I want to make a somewhat self serving request to you. I am collaborating on Mapped Travel Hong Kong Community which is a website where you can enter cool sights directly onto the map. I was wondering if maybe you could add 1 or 2 yourself. Especially in Hong Kong which I'll visit in cold January (just have time then).

If you don't want to, just keep on blogging your insights and don't worry – I'll continue to read them.

    Ralph
