As part of my farewell tour of Hong Kong, I went to the horse races last night. Held on Wednesday at the Happy Valley Racecourse, it’s a guaranteed good time, and it’s inevitable that you will run into someone you know there (and they will probably be just a little inebriated). I went with a couple of friends, but, in true Hong Kong style, we met a bunch of unruly Australians who convinced us to take a picture with them! There was also a band who played between horse races.

It was a nice way to say goodbye to Hong Kong. I took a few pictures of the nightscapes, which provided such a lovely backdrop. I’m going to miss the Hong Kong skyline!

It looks and sounds like it was fun. You should have told me, I could have placed some bets with you. Of course, it would be my first time cause I wouldn't know from personal experience or anything ; )
