How can one travel abundantly without breaking the bank?
–Cheap ticket websites are a must. For travel in the U.S., Sidestep.com is a good option. For inter-European air travel ryanair.com and easyjet.com have some of the cheapest tickets. . For Asia, airasia.com is pretty decent all around. What you save in price, you sacrifice in comfort, but that may not be an issue for you. -If you’re looking for cheap tickets, try to fly in and out of major airports and train/bus/drive/take another cheap flight to your departure/main destination airport. Booking a plane ticket straight through to a non-popular destination (i.e. not a capital city or major transport hub) is a lot more expensive. For trips to Europe, flying into London is typically the cheapest option as Heathrow is a major hub. Nairobi, Kenya’s airport is a hub if you’re going to Eastern or Central Africa. It’s also a great way to meet people if you are travelling solo.
-For accommodation, don’t be afraid to stay in hostels. They not only cost-effective, but also are a great way to meet people if you are travelling alone, as most hostels have common areas. Hostelworld.com is a pretty good hostel booking site. Be sure to check the ratings from people who have already stayed there.

not mind. Is it only me or does it seem like a few of
these remarks come across as if they are left by

I love your blog and have been catching up over the last few days. I must say I’m a bit surprised that you mention taking out personal loans (I have no problem doing that if it’s worth it) because most travel books that I’ve read say the opposite. It’s like if you can’t afford to pay out of your pocket then you need to stay at home. Interesting post, but I suppose this was written for a travel site but you cross-referenced/posted it to your blog as well.
