A year later, a video documenting my time in Pamplona, Spain, where I ran with the bulls.
I know everyone’s talking Royal Baby right now, but I figured I’d offer something a little different today.
Right around this time last year, I tempted fate and ran with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain as part of the Girls Who Run with Bulls project.
I’m a terrible scaredy cat and still can’t believe I did it. I essentially let myself run in the path of a group of angry bulls — while I’d like to think of myself as a generally measured, responsible person, doing such a thing defies all common sense. Some people say that participating in such a thing is not only crazy, but morally reprehensible, a blatant display of cruelty to animals. But no matter what you think about the ethical implications of the event (I wrote a post about them here), it was still a festive time and twelve and a half months later I’m glad I went to experience it for myself. With my Facebook going crazy with pictures and reports on the people doing it this year, I started combing through my photos and came upon a bunch of video clips that I completely forgot I had.
Since I’m trying to make good on my promise to revive my Youtube channel, I spliced the footage together and made a little movie about my stay in Pamplona. My blogging travelistas Nicole from Nicole is the Black, Jeannie from Nomadic Chick, and Nicole from Bitten by the Travel Bug all make cameos. Tell me what you think!

Seeing your video actually made it seem less scary and daunting, to be honest! I’m still not sure if this is something I would ever do, but never say never!
