September 16th is the Dia de Independencia (Independence Day) in Mexico. This year is the bicentennial celebration of the country.
I lived there for a year and had an amazing time, but regretfully did not blog about my existence there. I lived in Monterrey, located way up in the north-east of the country, land of ranches and the Sierra Madre, cowboy boots and 50-gallon hats.
So, I’m going take this opportunity to put up a series of posts about mi querido Mexico, and catch you all up on some of places I’ve seen and things I’ve done while there. Watch this space.
