Camden Market and Camden Lock

The day after we went to Stonehenge, Liebling took me to the Camden Market and Camden Lock. The market starts at the foot of Camden Town tube station on the Northern Line of London’s expansive underground system. The eclectic area was a feast for the eyes and ears, and a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon if you can brave the crowds. Liebling looked for shoes (without success) and I bought a dress from a market stall that I bargained down to 10 quid.

Camden was my favorite place in London. I love the haggling too! I got my belly button pierced in one of those tattoo/piercing shops there, I don't remember the name.

Are you going back to working in Hong Kong after your summer traveling?

I want to be like you and travel the world! When I graduate from college I think I might go into teaching English abroad. Your blog is really interesting to read and is giving me so many ideas on where to travel xx

@Risse: Camden IS super cool! I'm so sad to have discovered it so late into my stay in London… I leave tomorrow for Rome so I wont have the chance to go again… I have two and a half weeks in Italy and Croatia and then I fly back to Hong Kong to teach for another year!

@Marisa: Come join me! Do it! Working abroad is probably the best way to see a part of the world you've never been to before (and making a bit of money on the side is never bad either)! Thanks so much for the compliment and thanks for reading!
