• Wow!! I cannot wait until I move there next month and I get to see all that live! I didn’t get to do any nighttime wandering when I was there in January so I’m looking forward to doing that! Great shots!

• I have been to all the landmarks. But not during the night. All during the day. Great shots!!! 🙂

• Soooooooo pretty! I’ll be in London for the first time the week after next. My boyfriend and I are really looking forward to it….especially the Harry Potter studio tour:) lol

• You must go by St Paul’s at night, just stunning. Love houses of parliament lit up at night as well, these are really great shots. The entire South bank is always a nice stroll too.

• I’ve seen all those places but it was during the day. We were on top of one of those double Decker buses. That’s the coldest I think I’ve ever been in my life! 🙂 You’re right, London is freeeeeezing in November.

  • Ugh! My first time in London I came at the end of December and did a walking tour. I was regretting it by the end- so cold!

• Do you REALLY think the public transportation system in London is that bad? What are you comparing it to? I think it’s world-class, myself. I know there are hiccups and issues at times, but look at how extensive it is – the entire area is covered and you can get anywhere with public transportation.

  • I do! Expensive and always delayed, you can never get anywhere on time! Half of it is shut down on the weekend, too! Compared to the underground transport in cities like New York and Hong Kong, London can’t compare!

• There is always something exciting to find in London, day and night. Even those cold grey days don’t put me off.

  Never been to London, and really never had a great desire to go. But, if I had the opportunity to visit while in Europe I’d check it out. By the way, what kind of camera are you using? Those are some pretty good night shots.

  • I used a Lumix LX5 for these shots. It’s a great camera!

• I love London – maybe because I don’t have to pay my rent there, but the presence of all this history and great architecture alone… really, how could I not love it? 🙂 I adore these night shots! They make the city look a little less hectic and crowded 🙂 Can’t wait to go back!

    • But why would you want to be in London when it’s empty? Personally, I find London’s constant buzz to be electrifying and is what edges London ahead of Paris. That old Goldsmith saying about “If you are tired of London, you’re tired of life” is totally true… and this is coming from a Kent girl lol 🙂
