Ages ago (last December to be exact), Liebling and I went to Istanbul, Turkey. I took a slew of photos while there, some of which I’ve already shared on the blog. However, I also took a bit of video footage that I never managed to edit… until now.
It’s months late, but here’s a short video of me and Liebling’s stay in Istanbul. I apologize for the rough quality- I used my digital picture camera to film, and not a camcorder.

yay! Istanbul. I went there in 2007 and while I enjoyed it I also don't have particularly fond memories of Turkey. I was on this really strong medicine to kill parasites I had gotten while in India and I had a hard time finding food without gluten. I literally was starving. It was most unfortunate.

@Deidre- Oh no! I was actually pretty ill during that trip and the weather was crap as you could see! The only thing I could eat/stomach was the Turkish pancake and the continental breakfast served at our hotel… But Liebling tells me Turkish cuisine is delish.. 😉

I totally cracked up at the 'the boys are fit' comment 😉 We have those outdoor exercise machines in Seoul too, but you only ever see middle-aged people on them!!
Love the video! I'll have some video coming up in a few weeks. I didn't feel comfortable taking video in Istanbul. I was still getting over the shock of being stared down everywhere I went. 🙂 Most of the video is in Cappadocia and Ephesus.
